7-10 Red Thai chilis (rehydrated if dried)
1" piece Galangal
2-3 Kaffir lime leaves (minced finely)
7 White peppercorns
4-5 Coriander roots (minced)
5-7 cloves Garlic
1 Shallot (minced)
1 tsp Shrimp paste (or bouillon paste)

Pound everything in a mortar and pestle until a fine paste is formed, but with some texture left.
